Who is SACEE:

People of Southern Alberta who are seeking to better understand, appreciate and care for our natural environments, and who are involved in sharing their passion, experience, knowledge, understanding, skills and resources.

We are thankful to be represented by people of character who bring with them eclectic vantage points including, aboriginal, agricultural, community, economic, educational, environmental, family, industrial, and political leaders from across southern Alberta.

VISION: Together the Southern Alberta Community of Environmental Educators will learn to better care for and use our natural environment through enhanced understanding and appreciation.

MISSION: The Southern Alberta Community of Environmental Educators will create inclusive, meaningful opportunities to learn and grow from eclectic perspectives, forming respectful, collaborative, and cooperative partnerships.

In the Spring 2006, the SACEE’s work was formally recognized: being selected as a Finalist by Alberta Emerald Award Committee for preserving, protecting and enhancing Alberta’s environment.
