FESTIVAL BACKGROUND

The 2008 Canadian Nature in Mind Festival was created by a small group of southern Albertans to bring together artists from across Canada that focus on environmental issues and nature. In February 2008, Six national artists travelled to Lethbridge to share their passion and talent to celebrate the environment with youth choirs and regional Musicians to provide five days of fantastic entertainment.

FESTIVAL VISION: Provide an opportunity for children, teachers and community to experience quality music, theatre, art and dance with an environmental focus.

FESTIVAL MISSION: Nature Fest will utilize the power of music, theatre art, and dance to create inclusive, respectful, collaborative, and cooperative partnerships that will increase awareness, appreciation and care for our natural environment.
